How to: Attach a file to a fax transmission.
Solution:
Click the 'Start' button, select 'Programs', and select 'Accessories'. Select 'Fax' and select 'Compose New Fax'.
Click 'Next', type the fax number, and type the recipient's name. Click 'Next' twice. Attach the appropriate file. Click 'Next' and click 'Finish'.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'. (The 'Accessories' submenu appears.)
3) Select 'Fax' and select 'Compose New Fax'. (The 'Compose New Fax' dialog box appears.)
NOTE: If 'Fax' is not present on 'Accessories' submenu, use 'Add/Remove Programs' in Control Panel to add this program from the original Windows 95 installation diskettes or CD-ROM.
4) Click 'Next'.
5) Type the fax number manually:
a) Type the recipient's name in the 'To' box.
b) Type the recipient's fax number in the 'Fax #' box.
c) Select the 'Dial area code' check box if you need to dial the area code.
NOTE: If sending to multiple recipients, click 'Add to List' and repeat step 6) for each recipient.

6) Click 'Next'.
7) Specify whether or not a cover page is to be included:
a) Select the 'No' radio button to send the fax without a cover page.
b) Select the 'Yes. Send this one' radio button and select the cover page to include from the list box.

8) Click 'Next'.
9) (Optional) Type the message subject in the 'Subject' box and any notes in the 'Notes' list box.
10) (Optional) Select the 'Start note on cover page' check box to start the notes on the cover page.
11) Click 'Next'.
12) Attach the appropriate file to the fax:
NOTE: The file attached to the fax is the document which will be printed on the receiving fax machine.
a) Click 'Add File...'. (The 'Open a File to Attach' dialog box appears.)
b) Select the drive where the file to be attached is stored.
c) Select the appropriate folder and click 'Open'.
d) Select the file to be attached and click 'Open'.
13) Click 'Next'.
14) Click 'Finish'.
